VX-1225

Description

The VX-1225 performs simultaneous control of two unipolar electronic expansion valves, in addition to controlling superheat, ambient temperature, defrosts, pressure, ventilation, lighting, and alarms. In other words, it replaces the controller or thermostat of the installation, since it manages refrigeration processes as well as liquid flow.

This instrument features Smooth Defrost for softer and more economical defrost cycles; a configurable economy setpoint and fast-freezing mode; a real-time internal clock that allows scheduling of defrost events, and much more. Its pump down logic protects the compressor by preventing liquid return and refrigerant migration, storing the fluid in the condenser during system shutdowns.

When configured in "driver" mode, it is exclusively responsible for controlling the electronic expansion valve, providing dedicated superheat control, evaporator pressure control, hot gas defrost pressure control, among others. In this way, it can be used as part of a control system and interconnected with other controllers.

The model’s OLED graphic display provides a simple and intuitive user interface.

The VX-1225 is compatible with FG Cap v.2, a device that eliminates the need for a solenoid in case of power failure. Its two independent RS-485 serial communication ports allow connection to Sitrad or other systems via the MODBUS protocol.

Cost-Benefit

Because of the current precision and technology in this product, the user saves approximately 20% in the purchase of equipment to complement the installation, since they can be more compact and have less capacity. The user will also have similar immediate savings on the electricity bill, among other advantages such as durability and reduced maintenance.
