A national leader in animal health, Labovet Produtos Veterinários, founded in 1990, has maintained a Full Gauge Controls monitoring system for almost two decades. This system has continuously evolved to ensure the quality of vaccines and other products distributed throughout Brazil and exported to several countries. The Valinhos Unit, in São Paulo, Brazil, has invested in solutions such as Sitrad since 2013, increasing resources and redundancy to ensure complete traceability and stability.
The first system installed had Sitrad 4.13, TC-900Ri plus controllers, and a Conv 32 in a refrigerated container, which served as a condensing unit. Along with several extensions and location changes, the infrastructure added a TC-900E Log, a TI-44E plus for environmental monitoring, and a TCP 485 Wi-Fi Log, resulting in triple data redundancy for the two current cold chambers. The migration to Sitrad Pro ensured compatibility with the demands of RDC 430 (Anvisa Resolution about distribution, storage, and transport of medicines), which is very strict in terms of temperature control for veterinary products.
To eliminate the oscillations in the electric network that could compromise vaccine preservation, the MultiPower was installed, which monitors the quality of the power supply and issues alerts. The remote access earned higher reliability with P2P Tunnel, guaranteeing real-time management even without opening network gates. This solution and the instruments used were replicated in the Goiânia, Brazil, branch.
“Sitrad is the vertebral column of this project. With each update from Full Gauge Controls, we evolved together, earning more safety and traceability for Labovet products. The robustness of the controllers and the free-of-charge software allow the operation to be 100% reliable and sustainable in time,” says Cláudio Torres, from DN Refrigeração, a Full Gauge Controls partner since the beginning of the project.
