The director of Full Gauge Controls, Antonio Gobbi, won the Oswaldo Moreira Trophy 2009 in the category Personality of the Industry. The award - which brings the name of the founder of Revista do Frio and one of the professionals who helped build the history of HVAC-R in Brazil - represents one of the most important recognitions for the best professionals and companies from the industry and trade in the HVAC-R sector.

The choice of Gobbi as one of the three finalists in the category Personality of the Industry was made through a vote performed amongst industries, retailers and installers throughout Brazil. In the grand final, his name was selected by those present during the event by electronic voting.

About the Oswaldo Moreira Trophy: The award of a trophy to the best professionals and companies in the industry and trade, as a symbol of the contribution made to the segments of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and air treatment, began in 1991, as an initiative by Revista do Frio, a traditional media vehicle of the Brazilian HVAC-R, established for 19 years. In 1996, with the death of Oswaldo Moreira, the professional who created the magazine together with his wife, Mary Moreira, marked his time as a major developer of business and partnerships in the sector, the Trophy receiving his name and exhibiting his bust since 1998.
Accompanying the technological development, the voting has been automated in the last five awards, with nomination by internet and the live choice of winners, by means of an electronic system made available to the guests on the day of celebration itself.
